My iPod has been dying very quickly lately, and I’d left it out in my cold freezing car overnight a few times by accident so a friend had recommended a place to get a new battery and they were amazing! I’ve been a fan of the Flash In The Can festival since I got out of college and have always wanted to go but never a) never had the cash (it’s almost $900.00!) and b) never really had the reason.
So when I saw FITC was giving away tickets for free to females who enter a video entry of why they should go, I was all over it.
So I submitted a video and I won!

Jan 12/09Sea-Doo, one day.
I took my yearly trip to the Toronto International Boat Show yesterday and came away with the same goal as last year that’s totally out of left field but one day I’ll end up going through with, to purchase a Personal Water Craft. A JET SKI/Sea Doo whatever you wish to call it.
I’ve had the same dream since I was 15 sitting on the dock at my cottage watching the people ride them by and wishing I was out there. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to ride one myself and see how fun they are and despite how out of budget and the “rational” questions of where I would store it I know one day I will buy one, even if I’m 50 riding around a lake on one and BMP has come out with a flying saucer that rides over the water or something fancy.
I’ll buy one and enjoy it like I’m 15 everytime I get on it.
Oh and PS Boat Show – this post has more SEO than your website, you might want to think about that, the people who made it did a good job on theirs, but not yours. *call me!* shhh.
